DIY Care is a one stop shop for organic beauty enthusiasts. They are an online platform that connects organic beauty enthusiasts with like-minded individuals, experts, brands, and services to help them make more informed choices regarding their beauty needs. Not only can you read and share organic beauty product recipes, but you can buy the ingredients on the same site! DIY Care will also allow you to assess how safe your current beauty routine is by telling you exactly what ingredients can be found in your products.
DIY Care competed as the runner up for the Standard Chartered Women Entrepreneurs’ Prize. Now DIY Care works within the Zahn Center’s Accelerator Program. This summer twin sisters Isatou and Jarai Sanneh, both recent CCNY alumni, will build a following for their platform and test their product. Isatou holds a BS in Computer Science and Jarai holds a BS in Civil Engineering.
