Three engineers specializing in neural engineering, image processing, and motion sensing and virtual reality technology, and a physical therapist with a PhD in neuroscience. David was doing cutting-edge brain research using super-expensive motion sensors, and Owais and Luis had been hacking things using the low-cost, accessible Microsoft Kinect – when they heard each other’s stories, they decided they had to build technology to help people with their rehabilitation.

They won Zahn’s Kaylie Entrepreneurship Competition! They also participated in NYCEDC’s prestigious Entrepreneurship Lab, established a presence at clinics in NYC, developed a product that is in clinical testing at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, and polished their software with feedback from therapists and usability experts.
