GoHappy

GoHappy is an application that bridges the real-time communication gap between businesses and individual consumers. Individuals who download the app choose personal preferences and filter notifications based on their tastes. Then, whenever they go to a new area of the city, restaurant/bar coupons and special offers (curated to their individual interests) are sent straight to their phones. GoHappy, led by Alex Vlachokostas, was not only a semi-finalist in the 2015 Zahn Competition, but was a Grand Prize winner in the University of Delaware’s HenHatch Competition. Since participating in both competitions, GoHappy has secured key partnerships with several restaurants/bars around CCNY’s campus.
