To HAST, staying connected is as simple as wearing a health tracking wristband and connecting via bluetooth to a mobile app. The app provides daily statistics on each members’ heartrate, steps, calories burned, and more.
HAST is the winner of the 2015 Zahn Social Innovation prize and will use the prize money to continue to develop their app.
HAST is Ni Yao, studying Computer Engineering at CCNY; Xue Bin Zhao, studying Computer Science at CCNY; and Benny Tran and Bin Xu, both studying Electrical Engineering at CCNY.
