Affordable and accessible devices that convey information through touch
Dynamic Engineering develops affordable, accessible and resilient haptic products driven by materials science innovations. We produce devices that can convey information through touch in environments where sight and sound have typically been the primary senses at work. Potential applications include automotives, MEMs, computer interfaces and physical rehabilitation. We were founded in 2010 as Dynamic Braille, with the objective of designing and marketing a cheaper, more effective refreshable braille display by using electroactive polymers developed in CCNY research laboratories. The project won the inaugural CCNY Kaylie Entrepreneurship Competition in May 2010.
