Nine million skaters ride at night without lights. As skaters, we know the danger of riding in the dark, so we founded eKick to improve the city and suburban skateboarding experience. Our first product is a compact, non-interfering skate light with headlights to illuminate the skate path and side lights to project the status of the skater – green for riding or red for breaking. The unit is rechargeable with up to 8 hours of continuous use and can be customized with different light colors. Our second product harvests power from the moving board to charge a battery pack or to directly power our lights. Easy to install and good for the environment, the battery power can be used to charge any device that can connect to a USB port. With our Cruising = Charging technology, eKick helps skaters be independent of the grid.
