Discreet and active wearable devices for the visually impaired      
Vista Wearable, Inc. designs and builds discreet and active whole-body wearable devices that both sense and convey information to the wearer about his/her surroundings using sensors and haptic feedback. With this technology, we have developed assistive navigation devices for the blind and visually impaired. By leveraging widely available consumer technologies, we design devices that are affordable and will enable the blind and visually impaired to improve their quality of life by gaining better mobility. We are also applying the core technologies to markets that require situational awareness in the face of diminished visual/auditory senses, as can happen to first responders, military and search and rescue personnel.
